Product Details

SKU Code: SUB/SS/12/GT/A

This newly upgraded military diver's watch features Tritium GTLS tubes and a scratch- and impact-resistant sapphire crystal. It is one of our latest automatic 24-jewel mechanical military diver’s watches, offering excellent value for a high-specification, self-luminous dive watch.

Superior Night Visibility

The Gaseous Tritium Light Sources (GTLS) make this watch one of the most visible in low-light and nighttime conditions. The H3 Tritium vials on the dial illuminate up to 100 times brighter than standard luminescent dials, allowing for quick and effortless time reading at a glance.

Case & Strap Compatibility

The watch case measures 45mm including the crown and 40mm excluding the crown. It is compatible with 20mm webbing straps, the same size used by MWC military diver’s watches and many leading brands. This allows for a wide variety of European-style nylon webbing straps and U.S. military straps to be used.

Why Choose a Sapphire Crystal?

A common question we receive is: What are the advantages of sapphire crystal over standard mineral glass?

Synthetic sapphire is the most durable material for watch crystals. It is:
Highly scratch-resistant
Shatter-resistant
Ideal for military, law enforcement, and outdoor enthusiasts

These qualities make it particularly appealing to military personnel, security forces, police officers, and active outdoor users, who make up over 70% of our customers.

From our experience, over 90% of cracked watch crystals result from mineral glass, even when using hardened mineral glass. In contrast, sapphire crystal withstands extreme conditions far better.

Why is sapphire so strong?
After manufacturing, sapphire glass is heat-treated to remove internal stresses that could cause weakness. It is then crafted into watch crystals and coated with two layers of anti-reflective coating. Interestingly, sapphire crystal is now also used in the latest iPhones due to its durability.

While sapphire crystals come at a premium price, they are typically found on higher-end watches, making them a superior choice for anyone needing a rugged, long-lasting timepiece.
